Plastic cage

bigdee Oct 16, 2003 01:08 AM

Could I go to a plastic shop and get plastic sheets to build a cage for a boa? if so what type of sheets do I ask for? I guess I would get them to cut it. How would I put it together? what would I use for the door? would this be as good and strong as some of the commercial cages?

In my opinion, it is hard to duplicate commercial plastic cages and save money. I have tried and the expence was more. Manufacturers are able to buy their supplies in bulk and have the proper tools, measurements and expieriance to build them right the first time. There was a lot of trial and error when I tried and the end result was sub par at best. My advice would be to get one from one of the reputable manufacturers.
