I got the idea to do this from the late educator "Peter" who we all miss on this boa forum. In some of his classroom enclosures he posted on this forum he mounted a ceramic based basking lamp in a box mounted in his cages. I picked up on his idea and mounted mine in pet carriers. This method works great along with a large heating pad for additional belly heat. This method I have used for the past 6 years and no mater what the snake does to the carrier are worst enemy "fire" is avoided. Hope this post helps some who want additional methods for heating their enclosures.
