davel Oct 24, 2003 04:13 PM

Just wanted to show off my new 2003 male albino 66% het stipe produced by Pete Kahl. Credit for the pic also goes to Pete as it won't ship until next week...I can't wait.

Pete has been holding out on us, he says he has more!

Here's a pic of mine I got from Pete this year. This guy is 100% het stripe. He has gained sooo much color over the last couple months. I guarantee you will love yours too.

Matt, yours looks great. Yours might actually be a striped albino. Pete explained that borderline animals have to be sold as het to give customers benefit of the doubt. I also bought a 2002 albino from him last year and she has retained more red in her tail than an average albino.

Yes, your right, he is possibly a striped albino. However, I don't think he is. From what I've seen, animals that are striped, seem to have extraordinarily large side diamond markings down by the tail. This guys marking appear normal, so my guess is he is not a stripe. Only time will tell.

I have not thought about the red diamonds on the sides of the tail, but now that you mention it my striped boa het albino by PK does have the ones you speak of.
