I've heard from some reliable sources this is no problem and from others that it's a big no-no, resulting in high numbers of deformed babies.

I would greatly appreciate the further opinions and experiences of others when the albino gene is involved in offspring to parent breedings.

The image shown here is of one of fourteen DH Sunglows I produced in '02. This photo was taken as a neonate just after it's first sheds.

I've never bred boa constrictors, so have no personal experience there.

From what I've read on this forum, eye deformities are fairly common in albino boas. Dr. Frederic Frye has half a page or so on microphthalmia and anophthalmia (tiny and missing eyes) in his 2 volume book Reptile Care. Apparantly the problem turns up in a variety of species. You might want to check the book out. Good luck.
