Please remember that these forums are moderated. Folks should already be aware of the fact that by registering and using our sites and services, everyone here has agreed that that they have read, and will abide by, our Terms of Service.
When a problem on the forums occur, don't assume that a moderator will just 'happen' to stop by and notice them right away. If you see posted messages that are in violation of this sites Terms of Service, take the time to report them. The report abuse link can be found on every post next to the name of the poster of that message. The links are there for the members to use.
Please also keep in mind that our moderators are volunteers. They cannot be online 24/7 watching the forums and reading every single one of the several hundred posts made each day across the 200 or so forums amongst kingsnake.com, kingsnake canada, and kingsnake europe and be able to catch every violation.
Posted messages/threads that violate our terms of service are pulled when/if they are found. We rely on member submitted abuse reports to bring potential problems to our attention. Posted messages/threads that are in clear violation of the terms of service that have not been reported by members and/or were not caught by our moderators are very likely stay up on the forums until such a time as someone finally alerts us to that problem - assuming anyone ever bothers to do so.
If you see that there is problem on any of our forums especially if someone's post violates our terms of service, again it is asked that you report it as abuse so that it can be brought to our attention.
All abuse reports submitted are reviewed within 48 hours (often sooner) and action will be taken as is deemed necessary to the situation. Member submitted abuse reports regarding violations that occurred more than 30 days ago will be removed on a 'as time permits' basis.
If you have a problem with an individual, either a user or a moderator/host on this site, do not disrupt the forums by posting complaints against those individuals on the forums - those posts will be pulled for violation of the rules. Contact the kingsnake.com Site Coordinator and/or the Director of Community Services to deal with the matter privately. If the complaint is about an ad(s) posted in the classified forums - report the problem to the classified abuse coordinator. Every classified ad contains an abuse report link above the advertiser banner.
To submit comments, suggestions, or yes even complaints about our site, use the Feedback Form. You will need to log in with your username and password to access this page.
If anyone has had their ability to log in, post, or upload on/to the site rescinded, or had posts or images removed, or had their access to chat rooms blocked, it is that person's responsibility to contact the site coordinator of the appropriate site and appeal the action.
Any public discussion on the forums of actions that may or may not have been taken against a user's account will be removed. Likewise, we will not discuss any action against a user's account with anyone but that individual.
