And anyone that has a box trained ig is likely just lucky. I haven't noticed them caring either. They are not nest animals and so not trainable in the classic sense. Though I don't know if they soil their burrows. Mine seems to.

People under estimate what reptiles will and won't do.My 5' green Iguana had run of the house with his (so called) cage being a window looking to the woods. He sat in tree limbs mounted at the window with several basking sites.Free to go anywhere and return.I put newspaper on the bathroom floor when he was little and took him to that spot to Poop as he got bigger. He, throughout his life went to that spot in the bathroom to poop on the newspaper EVERYTIME!The bathroom was 15' away and he had several other doors that he could have went into to go,he DIDN'T!EVER!My Blackthroat does the exact same thing in my bathroom.Never goes in the cage or bathtub, she climbs out of the tub and goes in the same corner EVERYTIME!She will even "hold it" until she can get to that exact spot.Crazy huh?
