Well, I already started feeding the babies that were born on Saturday Morning. The babies came out and looked as if they had already absorbed all their yolk reserves, so I thought I would try and start feeding them before they shed. I only thawed 5 fuzzies for them to feed, I figured that not too many would feed so quickly, well out of the first 7 I tried, 5 of them ate and they ate with out much hesitation LOL, just chomped down on them! I will thaw out another 5 fuzzies tomorrow and see how many more eat. They should start shedding in the next few days and I will already have their first meal into them

Jim, it's pretty amazing that baby boas are born with the instinct to know that your finger is not food, but the ratcicle is!!!
I think this is why I enjoy boas so incredibly much.... in contrast to bp's that can be a pain to get started (in my limited experience with them) they just seem to know to CHOW DOWN!!!
The litter that I had two weeks back, after about half had shed out, I left a f/t rat pink in each of their cages before I left the room for the night. The next morning not one of the 21 babies hadn't eaten.
How can you go wrong with boas?!
