I am interested in Hog Island's,but i want to make sure i get pure Hog's,i know there are a lot of breeder's that mix Hog bloodline's with mainland Boa's and i want to make sure i dont end up with a mixed bloodline.In the article in Reptile's Magazine April 2004,it's said only a handful of breeder's are working with true Hog's,anyone know of any breeder's that are working with pure Hog's ?Also it's a shame that they are not found on Hog Island, possibly extinct in the wild from over-collecting i wonder if any effort's are under way of trying to re-stock C.B. Hog's back into the wild?Any info. would be appreciated.

I just left your web-site and i seen your Hog Island Breeder's and they are Beauty's !Wow your in Central Iowa,were close I'm in Omaha Nebraska,I've been to the Des Moines Reptile show before !Well just wanted to let you know we are neighbor's. Thank's again for the info.

I have been to the Des Moines show for the past six years. We may have bumped into each other a time or two; that joint gets crowded. Anyway, I am a member of the Iowa Herp Society. Maybe I will see you at are next show in October. There will be two breeders that have hoggs at that show, Jim Sours and John Meltzer. You should be able to pick one up for under $150.
