Potty trained blk throat, is this common?

roadspawn Jun 22, 2003 08:48 AM

My 5 month blk throat seems to only poop in a rubbermaid container. I feed him in there and after he's done eating, he will poop. The other day, he was pacing back and forth, I wondered if he wanted to poop. I placed him in the rubbermaid container and sure enough, he let it out. LOL... Does anyone have any similar experiances with blk throats or other monitors?
Thanks....

Most of the time when they find a spot they like, they tend to always go back to that spot.My Blackthroat ALWAYS climbs out of the bath tub while soaking and goes in the same corner of the bathroom every time ;0

Another animal scent marks nearby or defecates, they crap where the other animal went, and sometimes that becomes the new spot. They like to go in one place because its easier to avaoid stepping in it I guess, not that it bothers a monitor.
