Dear robyn@ProExotics why do you think peachy throat monitors are a better choice then blue tails and mangroves?

i have worked with all three, and the Peachies are just a better choice, IMNHO : )

for a mid sized monitor, and especially for someone looking for a gorgeous monitor, i can't think of a better choice.

Not Robyn, not I, not anybody else can make the "what monitor should I get" choice for you. That is up to you in the end. You see, the problem is that you could get a peachie, then come on here and talk about how great they are for a couple weeks and then tell us your new addition sucks and how you were so stupid, oh wait, you already did that, didn't you?
I am convinced that the only reason I have bred any monitor is because I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and therefore gave them premium care (that is all that breeding is). My buddy recently GAVE a large green tree monitor group to a well known breeder because his whole heart wasn't into them, shoot, a whole lot of people would tell you that those are the cream of the crop, but not everybody likes them, it is only up to you.
In the end, the choice of whether to get a sav, or a lace monitor or ackie or whatever the hell is up to you and you alone. because it is only going to receive care by you, and you have to like it. every monitor has its own qualities, so go and get the monitor with the qualities that you like, and treat it with your upmost. then if you like it and it is healthy and you have raised it to adulthood, start over with the same species and buy a few babies, try breeding, thats what i did, but you have to do what you want ultimately.

Cheers

i was reading it off pro exotics web site and wondered why. i am "not" going to get a peachie it was just a question. you have got to stop Analyzing people because of what they say. you don't know what their thinking or doing! not trying to be mean
good luck with your monitor projects

you are a sensitive guy man, calm down, its gonna be alright.

that post was for you and others. you are very young, and in my opinion by what you have showed so far, too inmature for all of this. this is a huge responsibility that lasts through your highschool years, through college (that is if you treat your monitors right they will live that long).

as for analyzing and such, you said what you said, that is it. no one can help what comes out of your mouth, we all have to deal with the consequences of what we say and do.

good luck with your projects as well. i hope you step up and meet your responsibility aggressively.
