Sex chromosomes?

dxc561 Nov 05, 2004 10:44 AM

does anyone know if sex in monitors is determined by X and Y chromosomes, or is it the Z W system, or another?

Monitors have a ZW system, in which the female is the heterogametic sex. So far as know all monitors have 40 pairs of chromosomes.
