feeding question

i have a female dumeril and it is about 7 or 8 months old and at what age fo you start feeding the small rats she is eating regular f/t mice right now, and what size would i order

just as long as the rat is proportionately safe, meaning do not feed any prey item to a snake that is thicker than the girth of the snake. Think of a nickel and put it ontop of a quarter, that should be the snake and rat analogy.

A baby Dumerils can probably take down baby rat pups or lrg rat pinkies, if they are smaller than you can always feed it two pinkies.
