question about my gecko's diet

josiahatteberry Jan 02, 2005 10:32 PM

until lately i have been feeding my gecko, Archimedes, crickets as a staple diet but i have read from other places that mealworms can be a better and possibly easier diet for leos. i was just wondering if it was safe to feed my gecko mealworms as the staple diet and if so how i should go about it, with the calcium and feeding dish and all. any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes. i feed my babie albino leo mealies as a stabe diate. and crickets as a change up. they will go on hunger strikes i herd if u feed the same thing all the time. i put my meals in a feedin dish with calciam in the dish. most people have a seprate dish for calcium. also the leo can eat when it wants and wont be stressed out by them like he is with crix. hope this helps and g/l
