I try and feed my gecko an assortment of things. little mealies, crickets, waxworms, pinky mice. In the last month or so he stopped eating crickets. from reading this forum, that doesn't seem strange, 'cause appearently they sometimes just stop eating crickets out of bordom with their food. He didn't eat the last pinky i gave him either. I have left a bowl of mlies for him to graze on at his leisure, but i think most of them escaped into the tank, and the remaining few were left there for a while. He does still eat wax worms, but he doesn't seem nearly as exceited about eating as he once was. I generally feed him 4-5 wax worms a day. With his lack of appitite i started feeding every other day. He still poos so i don't think it's an impactions, and he's still nice and fat. I did move him to a bigger tank recently. He has no tank mates, so he didn't catch anything. anyway i'm not sure if i should be worried or not.
last thing - he is on sand, but i hand feed him so he doesn't nab sand while trying to eat his food. Could he still get an impaction. i appreciate all your help

It's great that you very thier diet! But beware-- I have read numerous times that waxworms can be addicting to leos! I woudl feed those as a treat. Your leo is most likely just adjusting to its need surroundings and needs a few days to acclimate. I wouldn't worry unless you see signs of weight loss. Youcould also try feeding roaches if you have access to them! I switched from crickets to raoches as thier main staple and they love them!
