here is a list of ideas

kids playsand or the reptical sand, very natural look (unless you use the reptical pink and blue and green) but, there is chance of impaction from injesting the sand. I have never had a problem with this

the reptile carpet or astroturf. it is easy to clean but, doesn't look very good.

newspaper, papertowel again easy to clean but, looks even worse than the above.
