I just got a baby blood from the reptile auction. The snake was just described as a blood python captive bred 05, extremely tame and 18 inches long. She will not eat although the former owner says she got her to feed a couple of different times on f/t. Says the previous owner before her was feeding live mice. Finally last night, I got desperate because the snake was getting real thin with loose skin and I force fed a small mouse. She opened up real good and ate the mouse and has not regurged. Tried a second one but she did not want anything to do with the second one. I moved her to a smaller enclosure with a hide log and some damp coconut husks for a substrate. Anyone with ideas?
