this snake is in this months reptiles magazine. Very nice looking copperhead. Just thought I'd ask if anyone had the pleasure of owning one

actually i have a trans-pecos/ broadband cross that make for not only a very interesting look but varying colors throughout the whole snake.
Do you have any pictures to share?

This isn't the best picture...i would have gotten another one but she is hiding..
lets try this one
ok sorry about that...having some small computer issues...like i said this is a quick photo but you will see her getting more red towards the base and she also does still have the green tail.

Very cool. The one I saw in the magazine was bright red. its funny, since I do not know a lot about hots, but I just think of the copperheads, rattlers as being drab, boring. Your snake is very nice looking. Some of the hots are amazing. I like the gaboons, that have the bright color array. Thanks for the pic

We have enough youth....How about a fountain of smart?
i will try to get a better pic showing her colors...she doesn't have the crazy bright red that some have but ya i like her.
I had never seen them before the one in the reptiles magazine, so therefore never knew they had a green tail. Very cool.

Captive bred female, Agkistrodon contortrix pictigaster. She is entering opaque cycle, so her colors are not as bright as usual.
Vampire
I can see the green tail that was mentioned in the previous post. Thanks for the pics. Very nice
