That's an aweful lot to ask of a Ball. Yes there are some who feed very heavily to race to get them to bredding weight in two years, but you have to wonder if that is wise. They should be better than a 1000g to breed and that's hard to do in that short of a time, considering if you did your temp roll backs right they went off feed for a while, etc. Mot breeders we know stick to a 3rd winter plan.

All depends on their weight.. We have a few girls that took off and they are well over 1400 grams and are breeding this season. Many of them have 5 or more folicules. I have one early 04 that weighs 2200 grams, sometimes they just want to grow..
