Here are more pictures of the mystery spot. They are on both side and do not seem to be going away. Just curious if anyone has encountered anything like this.

No. It was just there one day.
This is weird, but looking at the texture of the skin (which looks normal) and the different shades that blend into the regular blotch right next to it, I wonder if this has something to do with the chromatophore layer of the skin itself. It may be a congenital thing due to some little defect in that layer. Very odd!
