Strange noise?

My Ball Slick started making a "caughing" sound almost like a cat hacking up a fur ball. any ideas?

Hey thanks. That must be it. Our heat went out last night and didn't get fixed until today in the house. It did not drop the temp by much but it did the humidity but after it was fixed and warmed up in the house is when he started doing it so i guess it was the same problem. And it didn't help that he was trying to shed...
