Dorothy's belly is looking kind of funny,.. Some Advice would be helpful

yellowconda12 Feb 03, 2006 03:57 AM

This is Dorothy she is my either 1 yr snd a half or two year old leopard gecko. She was mated with my striper in the late part of last year, She looked as if she was goint to start producing eggs but as sson as she started to get bigger, it all went away. Now she is begining to not eat, not even wax worms. I just need to know if anyone sees any signs of gravidity? Is that a word? Or it could be an infection, tell me what you think cause I don't know. Thankyou or any reply.

no reason to go bold. these sub-forums don't get as many views; as you can tell by the amount of health topics posted in the general forum. anyways, she looks gravid to me, but keep in mind that females can and will produce unfirtilized eegs. on the otherhand, they can also storm sperm up to a year.
