omg i woke up this morning to find my grandmother watching murder she wrote.it was about this curse thing well hence the name somone dies the funny thing is its frome a snake bite.they pull the covers off the dead body and here is a sub adult ball python just slithering around.hahahaha realy scary huh.i couldent stop laughing.goes to show what tv knows about snakes .i just thought this was funny.

Well, what'd you want them to do, hire a cobra ? I suppose they could have picked something that acutally looked venomous, but it's probably all they had on hand.

to cheap to buy a venomoid? LOL I love this stuff. And tthe people that it really scaers LOL. I would LOVE to have a sub adult BP crawling all over me! LOL Some people, I swear!

How much were venomous snakes in the mid-80s? I wasn't in the trade then, so I don't know. I assume they were not nearly as available as they are now, though. Also, if the "dead body" was really an actor, would they have been okay with a snake that was ACTUALLY venomous to be on them? I don't know. I think it's funny that people would believe a ball python would do anything more than capture their hearts My favorite quesiton when people see my bp's is "have you had their fangs removed?" Ignorance is just the mode of the day, I guess!

yeah but they could have atleast got a false water cobra if availible the are alot more dangerous looking non venomous snake i just thought it was funny.

You can buy a native US venomous snake for 20-30 bucks today, I can't imagine that they were THAT much more back then... whereas false water cobras were probably still mysterious and exotic...
