Uknown skink.

Hi

i was at my local pet store looking for a new pet. I was walkin around looking at the sandfish, basilisks, leopard geckos ect. when this name caught me. It just said African Skink and i saw this little head looking at me. So i ask the guy if i could see him and i was just amazed by the way it looked. It was like a rainbow.

ill try and get some picture of it but those 2 look almost like it.
Any knowledge of care and other stuff would b nice.

The skink you have indicated appears to be a Mabuya spp., possibly Mabuya brevicollis, though African skinks are not my specialty, so I could be wrong. Keep in mind, there are over 80 species within the genus Mabuya, though the care for most members of the clan is much the same and straight forward.
