I've always really liked trans-pecos rats...and that's one I actually have caught in the wild many years ago in SW TX.

Kinda cool that they are fall breeders too...

Yea, Sighthunter on the Indigo board breeds em too. He said a lot of breeders call them "Christmas Rats".

Im wondering did you by chance supply the baby chameleons to Delhi Pet center?

They have some that were "produced by a local breeder"

chameleon76 Feb 06, 2006 09:43 PM

hello dean,no that wasnt me suppling the chams. I dont really like seeing chams in pet stores. my female is about to lay her first fertile clutch. I hope all goes well with her. I am looking forward to salimander season and improve my herping skills.Hopfully i can post some good pics. I really enjoyed the pics last summer from everyone also they were very informative.
hope to attend a meeting soon.

some young kid, and by young kid i mean younger than me so maybe not so young or kid-like sold bigger baby veiled's to me once or twice. i would also get baby beardies from him. customers used ot do well with them so long as they got the stuff i told them to and took care of them like i said too. i had people coming in for food and gear from the first batch i sold from for my entire duration there. granted that was only like 2-3 years later, but we always did well with veiled's in HPC for the msot part.

Dean,

Those are some great shots of some amazing animals. Some of those would be a real treat to see in the wild some day. They aren't indigos, but not much is...

I hide them in my backyard and pretend to find them in the wild.
It's just not the same though, and ...I lose more snakes that way.
