TomChambers Feb 03, 2006 07:20 PM

I had a power outage resulting in a gravid female with an RI.

what meds are safe to give her, I was told that aminoglycosides(amikacin) are safe for her and the expected, while Enrofloxacin (baytril) is not.

any info would be appreciated.

Sulfatrim It's an oral medication, but is used with human children it is non carcinogenic ,so you will not cause any harm to devloping sperm or embryo's or long term with adult and real easy on the liver and other organs (always keep well hydrated though regardless of meds). (comes in grape and cherry flavors...lol...) good luck
