Hyper Corns ?'s

Are Corn Snakes always jumpy? My 2 young ones are jumpy hyper little buggers. They just love to try to take off. I am hoping they will grow out of this.

Every corn has its own personality. I do not have any corns that did not calm down when they got older. The key is to handle them, so they get used to it and trust you. Good Luck

Never knock on Death's door. Ring the bell and run. He hates that!

I have 7 corns (in conjunction with my boyfriend) and the newest arrival was extremely jumpy and quick when we first purchased her (Ghost striped motley). However, after handling maybe ever other day or every three days in between feeding (which is done on a regular weekly basis with the exception of when she sheds) she has calmed down immensely. So my advice to you would just be to handle them -- they will calm down in their own due time. )
