Arab/Albino/Sunglow love-making threesome ... minus the love-making part.

RyanHomsey Feb 03, 2006 08:49 PM

I've had some people ask me "What sets apart a sunglow from an albino" in the past. These pictures, I imagine, should suffice in making that explaination.

04 Sunglow (PH stripe) male has been in with the 02 Arabesque (het stripe/albino) for quite some time now. No courting observed ever... just laying around on top of her. 04 Albino (PH Stripe) male was placed in today just to see if he could get anything going. I took these shots right after placing him in the cage. They are all taken with the available light in the room (ie no flash). You may see some variation in lighting because white balance is so difficult in low light situations but most of them are spot on.

Sunglow Tail versus Albino Tail:

Ryan those are some sweet pics I hope they both go at her. That Arab is gorgeous and that sunglow is freakin awsome and the albino is just plain beautiful. Love seeing your pics as always, I wish the best on your breedings, you deserve some killer litters.

be fairly conservative in what he labels het stripe. Unless one of the parents have a very clear stripe he doesnt label the offspring het stripe... but as a possible. My guy actually has some striping on his tail and im fairly confident he is a het... but wont claim so until he's proven.
