Should i keep the under tank heat on 24 hours a day.

is it a good idea to have a moonlight lamp like the exo-tarra night glo for the night time.

I keep my UTH's on 24/7.

The blue light is not needed, unless you would like to view your gecko at night.

I usr to use a black light to provide heat at night. My UTH is on 24/7 I used the light because the enclosure is very large for the gecko thats in it "She is about 25G and the enclosure is 55G" I no longer use the light as it only rased the temps a few degres. As I look over right now the air temp in her enclosure is right at 70 "Ground temp will be higher do to the heater" so I guess no light is needed.
