Frillies online

tpilk May 18, 2003 11:12 PM

I have looked through the archived messages related to onine purchases and found them a bit vague. My local reptile store (in Denver) is very informative and helpful, but has not had babies available in a long time. I would appreciate specific information as to who to this group would recommend (or not) to do business with online. I would rather wait for a reputable source than chance it with a less than reputable source who has them in stock. My experience has been with beardies and forums like this were a big part of my success. I'd appreciate any help on this.

Do you mind if they are imports? If you do not mind farmed imports I'd be happy to recommend a couple reputable dealers. If you want captive bred (by a breeder in the US), you are probably going to have to wait a couple of months since this is typically the time of year when frillies are just starting to breed and lay eggs.

From the info I've gathered, I'm leaning towards captive bred. I am not in a hurry, as I've been researching these guys for a while now. If you would Dana, please send me the info-I'm at tpilk@msn.com . Please include any info on any future projects you have cooking (incubating), as well. I really appreciate your response. Also, just wanted to say you've got a great website. Thanks again.
