Crusty Eye on Veiled Chameleon

mhmclaugh Feb 04, 2006 10:32 AM

I noticed this morning that my male 1 1/2 yr old veiled chameleon has one eye that looks crusty and maybe swollen.

Is this serious, will a simple washing do the trick, or am I looking at an infection that is common to these breeds?

Any help is appreciated?

-Matthew

A veterinarian will be able to properly diagnose the problem....Almost all of the people here (myself included) are just hobbyists. We might be able to tell you the severity or share personal advice, but a vet will give you proper diagnosis and meds for your chams eye condition.....any crusty material on a cham is not a good sign....

Post pix and maybe we cna help you better...
