Ornate snail eating snake

One of the better looking snail-eating snakes, this Dipsas catesbyi was photographed in Loreto, Peru

wow, that is a very brown specimen. is that typical of the ornates in loreto? Ive seen quite a few in Ecuador over the past six months but they have really only had brown saddles on a dorsum of white rather than prominantly brown. very cool though
