i got my green conda.tradeda gorgeous CBB female amthystine for him.the condas were advertised as CBB.yeah well it ain't.it's got some nice scars...and a tick.i asked this guy to send me a pic of the specififc male he was sending, matched 'em up.not even close to the same animal.this business makes me sick.when did a living creature become a dollar sign and nothing more.this was important to me.i am no breeder or dealer.just a man who loves and is fascinated with these animals.you know who you are if you read this....find a new profession....like mcdonalds.

Just curious as to what they said. When dealing with any species of snakes that are rarely bred in captivity, photo documentation of breeding and/or birth is about the only way to confirm captive reproduction. I'm sorry, but I still find it hard to believe when someone has success with a species rarely bred in captivity, and then tells me that they just didn't get around to taking photos. It is very infortunate that there are dealers like this that ruin it for the sincere hobbyist.

oh yeah, and he said,i was welcome to send it back and get my scrub back...but the shipping was outrageous...and is just not worth the headache to me.it just bothers me that someone would just assume i'm some kind of idiot.i asked for a pic of the specific snake he was sending...and this snake is not even close to matching.i mean i was honest and up front,my CBB female scrub is worth well over his CBB conda, but that doesn't matter to me...the animal fascinates me...it makes me happy to see it thrive, and slowly trust me....it isn't about how much money it's worth.when you put your heart into an animal obviously you want the best specimen you can...why take chances of heart break?oh well lesson learned.i will take this scarred nasty snake..and i will make it mine.and it will live the best life i can give it.just remember these are souls and friends...not products and toys.

Hey rob, I don't usually post in these forums but I'm here to say sorry about what happened, that really sucks. Some guy pulled the same shipping scam on me with an albino burmese python that died after ONE DAY. So I know what it's like. Also, I ike your atitude towards condas and snakes, and don't see them as dollar signs.
