Egg Hatch Data

Sighthunter Feb 04, 2006 12:55 PM

This would be a good time to bring up the study I am doing. I am calculating the amount of calcium laid down on eggs, slugs and all. I will need infertile egg shells, egg shells from successful hatches and egg shells from fertile eggs that did not go full term. I am trying to find if there is a correlation between the amounts of calcium and egg failure. I will be weighing the egg shells and then stripping off the calcium and weighing them again. I will need all the data accompanying any egg shells submitted for testing. I will make the information available to who ever want it. Please include species, age, type of shell (good, infertile or fertile but failed) and any other data you feel significant. Please also include a substrate sample so I can test the pH value of the hatch medium.

Will be glad to help out. Please put out a reminder in June when the eggs which haven't been layed yet should be due to hatch.
