I don't know too much about health problems, although I do know you need to give more info than that. Have there been any recent temp changes in the tank? How is the water quality? Humidity? Lighting? Describe the overall conditions of the tank. I might be wrong, but it kinda sounds like a fungus.

How's the humidity? It almost sounds like it could be some kind of fungal infection. On the other hand, White's tree frogs can develop spots. If the spots are white, then they are normal. Sometimes the spots can be different shades of green, but I've never heard of grey.

Anyway you can post a pic?

Also, it might be a good idea to quarantine him until you figure it out.

fungal is the only thing i can think of... he is now quarnetined. Humidity is fine, runs 30% on the dry side and 75% above the water. their tank is 4ft x 16" by 18" deep.... 2ftx 16" x6" deep is all water with a fluval 4(really good water filter) and an ultrsonic fogger that is on at night. I have a uva bulb over the dry side and the cage temp has a high of 90 degrees directly under the heat lamp and the water temp is about 75 degrees.
this frog has spent alot of the time in the water ??? i am thinking i might try
immersing him in a 2% solution of malachite green for 5 minutes ,1 time a day for three days per

Keep him split into the seperate tank.. I am thinking fungus too.. use a paper towel in the bottom of that tank (change daily) and make sure it is eating and has solid and liquid waste..

Also.. check the fogger.. alot of them will shock and/or burn if you touch it.. not a good thing for humans or frogs.. it doesn't sound like this is the problem with your frog.. but alot of those "premanufactured foggers" are dangerous. Touch the center with your finger while it is running.. see what happens.. if it zaps you.. take it out.

Sounds like you have too high a temperature- 90 is a bit much for whites. Please post a picture- whites do develop spots on them as they age so it could be normal. I wouldn't treat him until you know for sure what you are dealing with. You might kill him by trying remedies without knowing what you are treating. You did not mention if the frog was eating. He might be spending time in the water if it is too dry--30% is a bit low. He might also be having problems shedding. You did not mention if you have a UVB bulb. Is the frog getting enough calcium? How is his color? Is he green or brown? Sometimes whites change color when they are under stress.

Did you say that 2ft of the tank is water? If that is the case, maybe there is just too much water in the tank itself. Like they all said, post a pic. A pic of your tank too would be helpful. You may just not have the right type of setup for this type of frog as well.
