There's almost a hundred to choose from, and most all are really good. I was in Circuit City today and I'm amazed how the size and price keeps coming down, but the quality keeps going up. Just pick one of the major brands (Canon, Olympus, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Kodak, etc) that fits your budget and feels good to you. Then learn to use it and you'll be very happy with the pictures and have a lot of fun taking pics of your animals with no film or developing costs. Mark

As I have heard time and time agan a great picture is 90% photographer and 10% camera. Dont spend a bundle just learn how to shoot. I use a Canon PowerShot A300 wich with 3.2MP is considered a less than good camera however I have taken some amazing shots with it. To see somthing my camera took look at the "My best picture" post I made in the Photography forum
