I don't think t his has anythign to do with wanting to lay eggs. When close to laying eggs, they will scratch around the cage for a good place to lay eggs, will stop eating completely a few days before being ready to lay eggs and will obviously look quite large along the sides, unless it's a very small clutch, which could be the case with a young female with unfertile eggs.
What the nose tapping and scratching at the cage sides could be, is she may be trying to get at what she sees in the TV, if she has a view of your television in your room. I am assuming her cage is also in your bedroom where you watch tv. If the cage is small, she may be wanting to get out for more room. Or she could simply be trying to get your attention, it's hard to say why bearded dragons scratch at the sides of their cages. Mine used to do it when she wanted me to clean up after her in the mornings, or feed her. Sometimes she will do it when she wanted out for awhile. I had her in a large cage by herself, so she had penty of room (5'x2'x2'custom made cage).
