Help with the sex of my chameleon?

wellbe1 Feb 05, 2006 09:52 AM

Ok I have read a lot about this online. This is my first chameleon and I do not want to name it wrong. I just got my panther a week ago and it was sold to me as a 6 month old male Ambilobe. Can I get some thoughts as to the sex of my chameleon?

Thanks.

Its a female in my opinion. See how the lips protrude much farther than the naisil crest? This is one sign that can help determin sex though it can vary. Other than that, the colour, which in this case is pretty difficult to determin.

Godd luck.
