cage dimensions

anafranil Feb 05, 2006 10:09 AM

I have read some books on chameleons now and I was reading about the cage dimensions an adult male veiled would need and they all suggested a 3'x3'x4' as a minimum.I found the exact numbers on a lot of sites in the net too.
What is your opinion?

That size of a cage is very good for a male veiled. Chams like large cages because they are very active. YOu could keep one in a 2x2x4 (lxwxh) but that wouldnt be that good for one.

Always go with as big of a cage as you can afford. Buildin your own cage is not only easy, but it is cheap too. You can also customize the cage to that specific chams needs.
