Mommy and Daddy C. vestiguim awake

PHEve Feb 05, 2006 11:58 AM

Chino and his lovely yellow lady love Chia, are awake from brumation. Earlier than I would have liked, but Chino was looking thin, and it's not worth losing him over .

They are back to lounging together and will be eating soon. So pretty , Remember Moms are allowed to brag. LOL

Chino and lovely Chia and a pic of Chino posing against a rock for me. I was wondering what he was thinking, hehehheeh, looked deep in thought.

It's funny that you menchen it because I was just going to post a question. I heard that if they get too wet they turn a yellowish color. What do I do, just roll them over?

Five of the eggs are nice and plump. A couple of others aren't as full, and there is a couple that just don't look too good. I counted out the days and they should hatch in the middle of March.

No once the eggs are placed in the substrate and incubating you never want to roll them or turn them.
If they got a bit yellow from dampness just let the container dry out some, do not add any more water, until you feel the substrate is begining to dry out a little.

And then not to the eggs themselves, but add some to the side of container away from the eggs.
