This little is guy is het for Hypo. He seems like he will have some nice lavender in his saddles. The bummer of it all is, of the 5 eggs that survived out of a small 7 egg clutch, three were dead in shell. The other one is alive but didnt come out yet. Oh well, thats life in the snake lane. I had similar trouble with my Lavs this year. Of twenty eggs laid, 4 went almost full term, only two hatched. One of those two is kinked right at the vent. One (the kinked one) shows the pastel color common to the Lavs and the other shows no pastel colors at all. Both parents are het amel and anery, I'm wondering if the second one is also homo anery???
I'll get pics later today.
