Where do you guys order your crickets online?

Thera Jul 26, 2003 09:05 AM

I have been using ReptileFood.com, but am really not satisfied with their crickets. They don't seem to be sending me as many as I order and most die within 2 days of arriving (and not die by beardie). Which isn't so nice because then I've bought 1000 crickets and gotten about 500 at most to feed to 19 beardies. And now I'm stuck on a weekend with no crickets until tuesday.

I used Fluker Farms the other week and I was much more satisfied with their crickets - who seemed healthier and lasted longer.

So who do you use? I don't really have the option of someplace nearby cos there isn't anyone around farming crickets.

Try out Grooms crickets at GroomsCricketFarm.com They live forever and come nice and healthy to me. Been going through him for years.

Superwormfarm is just a bit more cause of the shipper they use. I mostly use reptile food. I haven't had the problems with low count or die offs though.

are who we have had the best outcome with in shipping and surviving the longest. We are also happy with reptilefood.com crickets. I think a key thing is ordering from the closest to you..... all be have ordered that come from the west never arrive alive or they are in poor condition.

Their past history in the reptile world shows how little they care for living creatures, especially other peoples lizards. I trust nothing by this company and you might want to research on the search engines their history.

Why do you say that? I think I may be in trouble then, I just ordered crickets from them. Is there something I should know?

I posted a response to your post above..... when in doubt go to the old forum and use the search engine..... its a bank of past info and history.
