Learn How to be an Effective Lobbyist!

OK, here's the deal. It's from 7-8:30 PM, Wednesday, Feb. 8th, at the Baltimore County Library (Arbutus Branch), Media Room, 1581 Sulphur Spring Road, Suite 105, Halethorpe, MD. If you need directions, go to http://maps.yahoo.com/ and enter in the address.

This class will let you know what animal bills are up before the
Maryland legislature and how you can be most effective in getting involved and communicating your message to the legislators. You will be given the basic "lobby" techniques for citizen advocates.

"But... I'm NOT a lobbyist" you say? The best advocates are real citizens, not hired professioals. Your involvement is crucial, and it's not as hard as it sounds. It doesn't matter if you've never been involved in legislation or politics before.

I recommend that everyone who can go, does go, to learn how to lobby. You don't have to say anything or say what group you're with, just go and listen and learn. It's FREE, and you'll learn something that every American should know - how to contact and talk with your legislators!
