My new setup

Spankenstyne May 18, 2003 11:25 PM

Hi there,
I've only posted a few times, but i haven't really taken the time to introduce myself.
My name is Chris, i live in Calgary, Alberta Canada.
Many of your posts over the last many months have convinced me to get my very own Uro buddy.I've only had him a couple of days now but i'm extremely happy with my decision, so i wanted to thank you guys for that.

I don't jump into anything lightly and researched this as extensively as i possibly could and continue to do so, so that my little buddy can have the best care i can provide. You all have been a great help with this with your posts and links to other sources.
Anyways enough of my arse kissing and lengthy babbling, i just wanted to share my new cages with you.
I built two cages actually, one for my Cali King as well as my Uro cage, made them into a stacking unit and they were finished about a week before i got him.

I hope you enjoy em

Oh ps, the first pic is a bit distorted from compression but i have a few better ones with better views of the insides i'll post.

That is a GREAT looking cage! I wish I could do something like that with mine!

Oh and the uro looks to be under that pile of rocks in the front.

Thanks

He seems quite happy with it so far.The cage is a bit big for him as a baby (4' x 2') but has all the temperature gradients and plenty of places to hide on both the hot and cool ends so all should go well i hope.

Yeah that's his head peeking out under the rocks

Did you make that? If not,who did? If so, would you be willing to make another?

Yes i did make it, and thanks for the compliment

I work for a hardwood supplier so i got my materials for quite a good deal.
I live in Canada so i don't know if it would be worth it to make any more? Shipping alone would be outrageous i'd think.
