so now a few of you have read the situation i'm in.well like i sadi this animal will have the best life i can provide it.now i am no ameteur in the world of herps,i'm 26 and have been bothering reptiles since i was 11 ( my uncle was a part time herp etologist in upstate PA).i have kept,bred,raised,captured tons of different things.
I have been up and down this forum,since i mad knew i was getting it.but i had been counting on it being in top notch condition.so i will try to make this as simple as possible.
FACTS:snake is approx 4' long has desent girth(pics coming in a day or two).i have had it for 3 days now.the night i got it home(fri)it drank from the water dish for a good ten minutes.it defected/urinated in the bath tub yesterday(sat).tonight(sun)i have not bothered it at all.it is housed in a 40galbreeder aquarium,it has two rubbermaid hide-boxes fill with damp(not wet) spaghnum.it temps/humidity are in perefect range according to the N.E.R.D page.the two times i have handled it sat morning and evening(to make cage adjustments,and trip to the bath tub)it was qutie calm,active,curious even pressing his nose hard to my hand,inspecting me.but NOT ONE sign of aggression.i was pleased.i am sure you have had enough for one post,think of anything i described in here that may be wrong,and let me know.my next post will contain specififc questions i have.i really do appreciate any help,and all patience.
