Dancingbunny18 Feb 06, 2006 03:49 AM

Hello, I have a ?... My precious baby laid 15 eggs today.. i have them nicely sitting in an incubator.. this is her first clutch, but all the eggs seem to be yellowed, and soft shelled.. in most cases i would just have thrown these away.. but I decided to candle them first, it appears that almost all of the eggs.. (except 3) have red dots, and what looks like veins.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks..

If they've got veins then they're fertile, or at least were at one point. Cook them and see what happens.

well according to your list of reptile you only have the one female dragon. is this correct or did you leave the male out, or maybe you paired her with a friends male. if she was never paired then she's not fertile.
hope this helps

ok well are eggs tight and full, or are they kinda flat like a ball would be if it was half empty on air. if there not full and tight then most likely there no good

If you are seeing veins, there is a very good chance the eggs are fertile. I would continue incubating till they either hatch or turn rotten. You will know without a doubt when an egg goes bad, it will eventually collapse and start to really smell, usually within a few weeks after laying.
