I am trying to get a group together of people that may be interested in finding Costa Rican Lachesis in the wild sometime in 2007. The trip would be led by Bill Lamar. Bill did tell me that Stenophrys is more consistently found than melanocephla. I fanyone may be interested please contact me.

Possibly. Let me know dates and costs. I would say, your chances of finding melanocephala are pretty slim. I've been in areas where they were seen just days before(Heart of the Osa, Corcovado, etc.) and they're just so secretive, you need to be extremely lucky to find one. Its as much luck as knowing the habitat and their habits.

Bobby and Matt,
All you need to do is go to www.greentracks.com and check the schedule, cost etc. Besides, both of you guys will see Lamar in June at the IHS for crying out loud! LOL!

...yeah, yeah, yeah. If airfares don't drop, I won't be going anywhere.

FYI...your snakes are here!
