I noticed tonight that my 3 year old veileds penis is sticking out and looks dry. I have sprayed warm water on him but that did not help. Does anyone have any idea what is going on. Thanks for your help. EP

You need an experienced herp vet ASAP! Until you can get him there coat the hemipene with an antibacterial ointment such as Polysporin to keep it moist and clean. This is an emergency, so don't delay. If it has dried out and the tissue is dead it will need to be surgically removed.
