Amazing Fruit Eating Albino Ball Pythons!

dwherp Feb 07, 2006 03:37 PM

Okay I lied - the orange and banana are there only for color comparison purposes. I've noticed some recent threads on this forum discussing the variation in the color of albinos. These are four of my big albino breeder females (the smallest one in the photo is 1870 grams, the biggest is off my scale - over 2600 grams). I just love the range of color and intensity represented by this group.

Hope you like,
Dan Wolfe

Nice, that is a BRIGHT orange! I'd be scared to eat it! LOL Looks nearly radio active! haha Maybe it's just the glare off of those beauties!

Very nice Dan, I have one of your males that is currently taking a liking to one of my het girls and can't wait to see what they produce. Thanks again.

Great looking animals. Those are really nice colors for albinos that big. Mine are holding their color so far, but I worry that they'll 'wash out' when they older. It's nice to see that some will hold on to their yellow

If 2600g is off your scale, get yourself a new scale.... I recently got a real nice one from this site.

The price was very reasonable, and when you're dealing with animals worth multiple thousands of dollars, there is NO REASON to skimp on something that is so necessary.

P.S. How is that Black Lace coming along?

Hi Mark,

You are so right. I need a new scale, and a new digital camera, and more snake racks, and more rat racks, and........

The Black Lace project is the positioned to explode this year. I hope to not only prove the genetics but also produce several. I can't sleep now and it's only February.

Take care,
Dan

How do you get fresh fruit in Montana in the winter? Seems like you'd be eating salt moose and drinking lots of ale.
