Couperi in Georgia (take 2)

BWSmith Feb 07, 2006 04:35 PM

Alright, evidently my last post was construed as advertising and magically disapeared. So let me reword it.

I am pleased that we are being granted permits for couperi here in Georgia. They will make a great addition to our outreach programs. Now comes the daunting task of finding some this time of year. And (again) our display board that I designed.

Let me know how I can get a copy so that I can put it up in our wildlife center next to our eastern indigo exhibit; it would look great. Are some of those pics from Dirk?

Yup, Dirk and Dean helped me out a great deal in the whole process of getting permits and upgrading my programs. Poor guys, that board went through about 15 revisions. I only have it in digital form (about 45 megs). The display pictured I had professionally produced. It is 24"x36" lightjet printed on matte photo paper and mounted to 1/2" thick gator board. It ran aobut $95 to produce, but it should last for years. I would like to have it produced as a poster, but to make it affordable, it takes a large run and a couple grand Drop me an email at info@reptileeducation.com and we'll see about getting a digital copy out to you.

You have done a great job with this and I'm glad you got the permits.

It's really nice to see your committment to indigo conservation!
