Signs of Shedding?

I've had Kid Boots for a month now and he is 3 months old. He shedded the day before I bought him. Lately he has been inactive at night and when I tried to feed him the other day he refused (he never refused for me before and I have feed him 4 times since I had him). Could this be a sign of an upcoming shed?

Yes, chondros are thin skined, its often hard to see a shed coming.
